  • Device Inventory — Add devices with name, role, MAC address, assigned IP, and notes. Assign each device to a room and an IP pool.
  • Rooms — Group devices by physical space within a location — Living Room, Server Rack, Office, etc.
  • IP Pool Management — Define pools with start/end ranges. Netory validates for overlaps so pools can’t accidentally collide.
  • Location Categories — Organise locations as Home, Work, Business, or Client to keep personal and professional networks separate.
  • Location Photos — Add a photo to each location from your camera or gallery to visually identify sites at a glance.
  • Multiple Locations — Manage as many locations as you need, each with their own networks, pools, rooms, and devices.
  • Export / Import — Export your full inventory as JSON for backups or sharing. Import restores everything including devices and pools.
  • Fully Offline — No cloud, no accounts, no cost. Everything stored locally on your device.
What is Netory? Netory is a free iOS and Android app for documenting your network — devices, static IPs, IP pools, and rooms — across home, work, business, and client sites. Everything is stored locally with no cloud or accounts required.
Who is Netory for? Smart-home owners, homelab builders, freelancers managing client networks, and small offices who need a clear, searchable source of truth for their network inventory.
What location categories are available? Home, Work, Business, and Client. Categories help you keep personal networks separate from professional ones and make the locations list scannable at a glance.
Can I group devices by room? Yes. Create rooms within any location — Living Room, Rack, Office, etc. — and assign devices to them so you know both the IP and the physical location of each device.
Can I add photos to a location? Yes. Each location supports a photo taken from your camera or picked from your gallery — useful for documenting rack setups, router placement, or anything you want to visually identify later.
How does IP pool management work? Define pools with a start and end IP range within a network. Netory validates that pools don't overlap, so you can assign devices to pools with confidence that addresses won't collide.
Can I export my network inventory? Yes. Export as JSON for backups or to share with a client or colleague. Import restores the full inventory including devices and pools.
Does Netory cost anything? No. Netory is completely free with no in-app purchases, no subscription, and no ads.
How do I get help if something looks wrong? Reach out via the contact page with details about the device or issue.
