Create Your First Location
Section titled “Create Your First Location”A location is the top-level container for your network inventory. Each location has its own networks, IP pools, rooms, and devices.
- Open Netory and tap + to add a new location
- Enter a name (e.g. “Home”, “Office”, “Client — Smith Co”)
- Choose a category: Home, Work, Business, or Client
- Optionally add a photo from your camera or gallery to visually identify the location
- Tap Save
Location categories

| Business | Your own business network |
| Client | Networks you manage for clients |
Categories keep the locations list organised and make it easy to separate personal from professional.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”Once your location is created, add a network to it (with the IP address and subnet mask of your router) before adding devices.
Store your router login IP and any useful notes in the location’s notes field — you’ll thank yourself next time you need to log in.
