Labels and artwork
Section titled “Labels and artwork”Open Tools → External Plugins → Kobee Studio: Create PCB Artwork from PCB Editor, then choose an output layer before placing anything.
Labels and symbols
Section titled “Labels and symbols”Start with a label for ordinary text. Choose a filled or outline container, adjust padding, pick a shape and add a symbol when it helps the marking read faster. The quick-label and symbol pickers are useful for common names such as power, ground, reset and test points.
Use Title + subtitle when a primary name needs a smaller supporting line. The subtitle follows the main typeface by default, with a separate typeface option in advanced settings when you need it.
Connector and component callouts
Section titled “Connector and component callouts”Use the 2.54 mm Pin Header tool to make a labelled rail over a single-row header. It supports horizontal and vertical layouts, adjustable spacing and optional pin openings.
Use Component Callout when the artwork needs to sit around a part instead. Common package sizes, LEDs and tactile switches are included, and the envelope stays editable for custom parts. Component Array extends the same idea to repeated LEDs or other components.
QR codes and barcodes
Section titled “QR codes and barcodes”The QR and Code 128 tools include practical minimum sizes to help keep marks usable on a real board. QR codes can be plain or placed in a rounded frame with a short caption underneath.
Editing an existing item
Section titled “Editing an existing item”Select one Kobee Studio artwork footprint, then open Kobee Studio again. The dialog loads the saved settings so you can adjust the artwork instead of starting from scratch.
